Research and evaluation is a critical component of all CHDI activities. We strive to promote practice improvement strategies that are rooted in sound theory and research, and rely heavily on evaluation findings before working to bring a piloted idea to scale.
CHDI’s Early Childhood DataCONNections project complements the Institute’s empirically-based approach, focusing its efforts on building statewide research capacity by improving the quality and utility of state data, and encouraging partnerships between state agencies and researchers.
