CHDI's juvenile justice activities are designed to focus on children who are at risk of becoming involved in the juvenile justice system, as well as those who are already involved in the system. CHDI’s efforts on this issue are spearheaded by the Connecticut Center for Effective Practice (CCEP).
CCEP is working diligently to build an integrated system of effective assessment methods and treatments for children with mental health disorders a common characteristic of many juvenile offenders. For more information on CCEP’s efforts, click on the link above.
