Senior Associate

Brittany Lange is a Senior Associate working on the development of online trainings. As part of CHDI’s Trauma ScreenTIME initiative, she leads the development and national dissemination of online trainings on trauma screening best practices. As part of the Minnesota Trauma Sensitive Practices in Early Childhood Project, she supports the development of a training series on trauma-sensitive practices for early childhood interventionists. She also supports CHDI’s quality improvement initiatives, including leading the annual Connecticut Provider Support Survey.  

Brittany joined CHDI in August 2019 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She was hired as a Senior Project Coordinator for ScreenTIME in 2020 before transitioning to her role as a Senior Associate in 2022. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Social Intervention at the University of Oxford and her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy at the Yale School of Public Health. Her DPhil research focused on the association between child sexual abuse and subsequent mental health and parenting outcomes. Her MPH research focused on the association between adverse childhood experiences and parenting outcomes. Her primary research interests include mental health, trauma screening, child sexual abuse, parenting, and qualitative research methodology.
