The 12th Annual Connecticut Evidence-Based Practices Conference was held virtually and consisted of nine online workshops for behavioral health providers, child welfare and judicial staff, policymakers, and administrators. Presenters included experts from Connecticut, the National Center for School Mental Health, and Harvard University who provided workshops on topics such as behavioral health equity, advanced clinical skills in evidence-based treatment, providing effective court testimony for clinicians, and self-care/secondary traumatic stress for child-serving staff.
The conference is supported by DCF, the Court Support Services Division, and federal grants, and is one way that CHDI has supported dissemination of evidence-based treatments to more than 1,600 clinicians who have served more than 15,000 children since 2007.
