Article in Community Psychologist
Judith Meyers was invited to write a brief article on her experience as a community psychologist working in philanthropy. The article was published in the Summer 2011 Newsletter of the Society for Community Research and Action (The Community Psychologist. Vol. 44 No. 3, pp. 10-11), where she writes about how a career in philanthropy is a match for the skills, knowledge and values that encompass community psychology, and describes the work of CFC and CHDI as an example. The article is intended to inform graduate students and early career professionals about the range of opportunities for community practitioners in nontraditional settings.
