CHDI’s Project Coordinator Diana Perry joined host Brad Davis on Talk of Connecticut radio show to discuss Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS) and BounceBack!, an initiative aimed at increasing students’ access to trauma-informed services. In partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and model developer Dr. Sharon Hoover, CHDI serves as the coordinating center for schools throughout Connecticut to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to students who have been affected by trauma.
Listen to Diana discuss how CBITS and BounceBack! can help schools address the trauma needs of their students.
Providers, schools, school-based health centers, and others offering services in school settings can receive all training, consultation, implementation support, data reporting, and quality assurance at no cost, and are eligible for performance-based incentive funding.
For more information about implementing CBITS, please visit CHDI's web page and download the CBITS Welcome & Application Packet.
