Connecticut Health Investigative Team Article Examines Lead Poisoning in CT

An article titled "Thousands of Children Suffer from Lead Poisoning, Many Not Tested,by C-HIT reporter Jennifer Frank examines lead poisoning in Connecticut and discusses how many young children are not being screened properly, resulting in missed opportunities for early diagnosis and intervention. 

“Even though Connecticut has some of the strictest lead-screening laws in the country – requiring every child to be tested twice, once when they are age 1 and a second time before they turn 3 – state Department of Public Health figures show that only half were screened twice.” - C-HIT article
