School, behavioral health, community, and research leaders from across Connecticut came together to align work around trauma-informed schools at the Symposium on Trauma-Informed School Mental Health 2.0 on October 23, 2019 at UConn Storrs campus. This was a follow up to a May 2017 symposium and resulted in ideas and recommendations for action in four areas: prevention through screening, services for intensive needs, sustainability, and collaborations across public-private partnerships. The 2017 and 2019 symposiums were a result of a collaboration between CHDI, UConn Collaboratory on School and Child Health, UConn Neag School of Education, Capitol Region Education Council, the State Department of Education, the Ana Grace Project, and Clifford Beers Clinic.
