Op-ed "Repealing the Johnson Amendment would harm non-profits"

Judith Meyers, President and CEO of CHDI and our parent organization the Children's Fund of Connecticut, co-authored an op-ed published in CT Viewpoints through her role as Board Chair of the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP). The Children's Fund of Connecticut, a public charitable foundation and parent organization of CHDI, is a long-time member of CCP. 

The op-ed, "Repealing the Johnson Amendment Would Harm Non-Profits," discusses how the federal Johnson Amendment protects against the politicalization of charitable nonprofit and philanthropic communities.

CCP Board Member Frances Padilla, who also serves as the President of the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut, co-authored the op-ed with Meyers.
