Judith Meyers testified before the Achievement Gap Task Force on April 17th about the importance of the promotion of social and emotional health beginning at birth and throughout the school years. She submitted CHDI's IMPACT report: "Improving Outcomes for Children in Schools: Expanded School Mental Health" which provides recommendations for creating a statewide system of school-based mental health services and supports to assure that schools provide a safe, secure and accessible base for improving mental health outcomes by serving as a hub for school-based and school-linked services in the community.
