An article in CT Insider, highlights finding from CHDI's latest report and interviews the report authors and behavioral health providers about how staffing shortages and low reimbursement rates have resulted in waitlists and other challenges for families needing intermediate levels of care. Intermediate levels of care are intended for youth who don't require inpatient hospitalization but need more support than outpatient treatment.
