CHDI's Jeana Bracey was quoted in the January 24th Associated Press article, "Connecticut Focuses on Reducing School Arrests." Reporter Dave Collins highlights SBDI as a factor contributing to the decline in school based arrests in Connecticut.

Bracey said schools participating in the initiative usually see a 45 percent reduction in student referrals to Juvenile Court in the first year.
