Meyers Interviews on the Connection Between Social-Emotional Health and Early Literacy

On August 23, Judith Meyers was a guest on Mike Bellamy's morning radio show on Bridgeport's WICC-AM. The topic was CHDI's recent IMPACT that looks at the connection between social and emotional development and early literacy and language skills. Suggested strategies were tested by nine communities that participated in the Connecticut Peer Learning Pilot on Social-Emotional Development and Early Literacy. Meyers spoke about the research findings, strategies that can be used to promote the link between the two domains, what parents can do, and available resources.
