CHDI is partnering with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to provide Quality Improvement (QI) services for the Young Adult Services (YAS) division. YAS works with young adults (ages 18-24) with behavioral health conditions to help them build the necessary skills for adulthood.
The new QI project will focus on understanding YAS program fidelity and utilization and assessing data and reporting needs. CHDI will provide recommendations for data development, quality improvement indicators, and benchmarks for performance improvement.
"The transition to adulthood is a critical period, We are excited to partner with DMHAS and YAS to use data to inform decision-making and quality improvement efforts." - Kellie Randall, Ph.D, CHDI's Associate Vice President for Quality Improvement.
