Improving the quality of Connecticut's Young Adult Services
CHDI is partnering with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to provide Quality Improvement services for the Young Adult Services (YAS) division.

What is YAS?
The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) has a Young Adult Services (YAS) division that works with young adults (ages 18-24) with behavioral health conditions to help them build the necessary skills for adulthood. CHDI partners with YAS to provide Quality Improvement (QI) services.
Our role
The new QI project will focus on understanding YAS program fidelity and utilization and assessing data and reporting needs. CHDI will provide recommendations for data development, quality improvement indicators, and benchmarks for performance improvement.
