Quality Improvement Training
CHDI is currently leading two major training initiatives to build a trauma-informed, highly skilled child-serving workforce:
Kids Mental Health Training Portal
The Kids’ Mental Health Training portal integrates research, family voice, and equitable practices to help providers, educators, and other child-serving professionals better support children’s behavioral health and well-being. After being piloted throughout 2024, this portal will soon host all CHDI online trainings and courses for the child-serving workforce.

Trauma-Sensitive Practices in Early Childhood
Even the youngest children can be significantly impacted by trauma. This partnership between CHDI and the State of Minnesota Department of Education is developing a research-based training series to guide early childhood professionals in implementing trauma-informed and healing practices.
