Kids Mental Health Training Portal
The Kids’ Mental Health Training portal integrates research and family voice to help providers, educators, and other child-serving professionals better support children’s behavioral health and well-being.

The place to find relevant and useful training in children’s behavioral health
CHDI is in the final stages of launching KidsMentalHealthTraining.org, an online learning portal that will provide convenient, up-to-date, trustworthy, evidence-based training on a variety of children’s behavioral health topics for clinicians, educators, pediatric providers, and other youth-serving professionals.
Developed in response to the behavioral health needs of children and their families, as well as interest from the behavioral health workforce, the Kids’ Mental Health Training portal will strengthen and grow the state’s behavioral health workforce.
About the courses
CHDI’s unique approach to training integrates family voice, community context, and research on evidence-based practices.
All courses are fully online and self-paced. Most trainings and courses will offer continuing education units/credits (CEUs) upon completion.
In 2025, CHDI expects to move other online courses we’ve created to this new platform, creating a one-stop shop for learning about children’s behavioral health for professionals in Connecticut and beyond.

Featured Training
Current courses are offered at no-cost with available continuing education credits (CEUs).
