The place to find relevant and useful training in children’s behavioral health

CHDI is developing the Kids Mental Health Training Portal, an online, asynchronous learning portal that will provide convenient, up-to-date, trustworthy, evidence-based training on a variety of children’s behavioral health topics for clinicians, educators, pediatric providers, and other youth-serving professionals

Developed in response to the behavioral health needs of children and their families, as well as interest from youth-serving professionals, the Kids’ Mental Health Training Portal will strengthen and grow the children's behavioral health workforce in Connecticut and beyond.

About the courses

CHDI’s unique approach to training integrates family voice, community context, and research on evidence-based practices.

All courses are fully online and self-paced. Most trainings and courses will offer continuing education units/credits (CEUs) upon completion.

Later in 2025, CHDI expects to move other online courses we’ve created to this new platform, creating a one-stop shop for learning about children’s behavioral health for professionals in Connecticut and beyond.
