EBTs Improve Outcomes for All Children

Issue Brief 71: Better than Usual (Care)

caregiver and teen boy in counseling setting

This Issue Brief explores data from more than 46,000 children who received mental health treatment in Connecticut and outlines findings related to child outcomes (behavior problem severity) across populations. The data suggest that evidence-based treatments (EBTs) result in greater improvement than usual care ("standard") treatment while also reducing differences among groups.
