Annual Report Shows Positive Outcomes
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children who experience symptoms related to trauma exposure, including symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety.
As Connecticut's TF-CBT Coordinating Center, CHDI provides training, credentialing, implementation support, site-based consultation, data collection and reporting, and ongoing quality improvement to a network of 48 TF-CBT providers throughout the state.
The FY 2023 TF-CBT Annual Report summarizes the work and outcomes of these Connecticut providers during fiscal year 2023 (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023). This year, despite challenges, TF-CBT services continued to produce positive results in quality and outcomes for Connecticut children and families.
